Wyndford Holiday Farm’s roots go back to the early 1980s, when it was lovingly co-owned by Mr George Belling and Mr Willie Steenkamp. Life on the farm was simple and heartfelt – with no electricity, cosy evenings by the fire, and a warm sense of community.
Roy and Lynn Langford helped shape the Wyndford experience. Lynn’s legendary meals and Roy’s daily walks and games became firm favourites with guests, while their children played an active role in farm life.
As Wyndford grew in popularity, new rooms were added, and George designed our iconic tortoise logo. After his passing in 1997, the Langford family continued the legacy – one built on family, nature, and heartfelt hospitality that still defines Wyndford today.
