We are halfway through the year and for the first time since 2012 Wyndford had a white coat. Lesotho has also had excellent snow this winter. If you have always wanted to take the kids skiing or even just build snowmen, this year is the year. Come, bring your passports and let’s create memories. To make the trip more affordable we are offering a massive special but more about that later.
If the cold weather has you reaching for coffee, we have you covered. In fact, if Wyndford had a blood type, it would be coffee-positive! We support our local microbrewery, Highland Coffee. Based in Clarens, they roast their coffees in small batches to ensure perfection. Come wake up to a cup of filter coffee with a homemade rusk delivered to your room at 07h00 or try a cappuccino from our coffee shop.
The royal upgrade!
Sweetie, Cinnamon, Storm, Nibbles and friends have had a royal upgrade. Their new housing is a luxurious haven, fit for pampered royalty and a safe space for our younger guests to cuddle and feed them. Their new pen is where Button the tortoise used to roam in the summer. Button has also had an upgrade and is now sharing the yard at St Georges with Charlotte (the big Leopard tortoise).

Christmas and New Years
Do you have plans for Christmas and New Years? Great news, we still have limited space available for both Christmas and New Years. Christmas at Wyndford is a special time of the year with all the normal Wyndford goodness topped with decorations, Church service, a visit from Santa and an exquisite menu. New Year’s boasts a theme party and and a menu to fit the theme.
Veld Fires
Fouriesburg and surrounding areas have had some terrible veld fires this year. Gracefully, we have been spared but our hearts go out to all those who have suffered damages. A big shout out to all the local farmers who have stood together and fought together.
