Our Happy Place…

A phrase we heard often over the past few weeks was ‘Wyndford is my happy place!’
This may take longer to read than usual – but we would like you to know some of our plans for the year…
First up is our take on Valentines Day
Between the 12th and 19th of February book for three nights and we will give you discount to the value of the number of years you have been married! (proof required!) – a complimentary bottle of Sparkling Wine to the longest…
(Lindy and George would get a wopping 39%!!)
There are also still a few places available on the Seniors Tour from the 4th – 9thFebruary which includes the Katse Dam.
March 11th to the 16th sees another Fun Bowls week in the offing. Come and learn a new skill or polish up, as we have always said, at Wyndford there are no strangers only friends you haven’t met yet..!
Easter weekend .. only one room left but availability for the school holidays at the moment. Alternatively the long weekend of the 27th April – 1stMay, minimum 4 night stay.
Come and spoil Moms and Grans (Great Grans..)  on the Mothers Day weekend of the 13thMay! Wyndford is truly a rest from.. well everything!
Then – once again we are happy to say Peter Webb will be leading us from the 18th – 20th May, on the first of our Spiders, Butterflies, Bugs and photography weekends.  The most amazing transformations happen – Celvin is proof from previously calling for Angelique to actually offering to rescue someone from a woolie mammoth!!
June 17th, we celebrate Fathers! Book ahead to treat Dad’s and Oupas. Hiking and great food….
We had such a great time over Christmas that we are going to do it again!! (It might even be white!) 13th – 16th  July we are going to celebrate Christmas in July – but book early to avoid disappointment.  (We will wake up the reindeers specially…)
And then comes Spring and we celebrate life! A great time over September and October to plan a Family Reunion. Just think, no one person has to plan, cook, clean for everyone… time to relax and enjoy quality time where all ages are catered for. I wonder which family can round up the most… a challenge!!
Oh, and then there is also the 2nd of our Spider weekends on the 19th – 21stOctober if you missed the earlier one.
We are also considering an Elf Workshop weekend…. We could make Christmas Trees from wood, wreaths from the forest, Cookie decorations with the children… (more on that when I break the news to the rest of the team!!)
And while the kids beaver away for exams… there is a Seniors Tour from the 4th – 9thNovember, the Cherry festival the weekend of the 16 – 18th November and another amazing Fun Bowls week from the 18th – 23rd November
(for those who like to plan long in advance… the first senior tour next year will be from the 24th February to March 1st, 2019!)
Oh, I could have put exciting pictures in but that would have made it extra long… watch out for the newsletter……
Please share our news with family and friends and hopefully we can welcome you ‘home’ in 2018.
