November Highlights
Introducing The Willow
What was once known as The Shed has been completely transformed into The Willow. With a new 60-ton polished concrete floor, upgraded ceilings, and modern lighting, this versatile venue is ready to host large family birthdays, corporate events, social gatherings, and even games nights for our guests.
We were honoured to host the Fouriesburg Tourism Association as the first group to use The Willow. This historic occasion included the formal establishment of a local tourism committee to promote the region.
This weekend, we are excited to welcome Standard Bank, who will be hosting their event in The Willow.
A Greener Wyndford
Our gardens and grounds are flourishing with new life! Over the past month, we planted nearly a hectare of grass, using 300 bags of compost to fill in gaps and enrich the soil. The result is a rejuvenated landscape that we’re sure you’ll enjoy exploring on your next visit.
The Tennis Courts Are Open
We are thrilled to announce that the refurbishment of our tennis courts is complete! The upgrade was expertly handled by Willie Pretorius from Oorkant Tennisbane. Willie comes from a family with over 50 years of experience in the business and has previously completed courts for Menlo Park High School, several lodges in Limpopo, and most of the local courts in the area.
We’re proud to support a local business with such a rich legacy, and the results speak for themselves. So don’t forget to pack your rackets and tennis shoes the next time you visit!
Special Guests at Wyndford
We were thrilled to host a motorbike group for their year-end function, adding a touch of adventure to their celebrations. Another special moment this month was welcoming the Potchefstroom Dienssentrum vir Bejaardes, where my father treated the group to the cheerful sounds of his accordion.
Wyndford Family News
This month, Denise and Erard enjoyed a well-deserved holiday to Natal, marking their son Isak’s very first trip to the sea. What a special milestone for their family!
We would also like to take a moment to thank Rynhard and Natasja for their seven years of incredible service to Wyndford. They have been a pillar of strength during challenging times and have left a lasting legacy. As they move on to explore new opportunities for their careers and family, we pray for God’s blessings on their new journey.
